Here a basic design of my version of William Afton (A.K.A Purple Guy)ill be drawing a full ref sheet of him soon :3
of course as it was said in the book (The silver eyes), when he was living, William was seen as a happy (jolly) sort of guy who was.......very trustworthy....
but of course...we all know what he did XD
so I needed to draw him as the sweet, loving looking boi that he is...;;;

basically during the day when he worked he bottled things up (like jealously and such) then would kinda break down once he got home... so he basically a sociopath :3

it states in the first book that William had notes basically saying he "worshipped" and was "jealous" of Henry
so yeah it kinda confirms that William obsessed over Henry and such ^^

I think the reason he had those feelings is because it was confirmed that William was abused by his father, so he could have harbored a strong self hatred.

In my backstory for him he was abused a lot and it did rub off badly onto him

I have my own version of him where the abuse also rubbed him the wrong way as in he absolutely hates himself and thinks he is a terrible person for just living and gets terribly suicidal. Henry is about the same age as him and He is his first real friend (other than William's sister) and William is partially wondering why Henry would be friends with him. He is slightly jealous of henry because he thinks he is unworthy while he views Henry as the perfect kid with everything, and the whole henry being well liked, and having good grades thing didn't help. William can take comfort in his sister(personal fanon) because while she is athletic, tough, and kind, she is not very bright and constantly fails her tests and grades(he has good grades). It manages to get so bad that William thinks he is irredeemable for his "crimes".
And then the whole FNAF thing happened.

my own personal one is quiet different to yours but it does involve William being badly abused in his youth and he comes to meet Henry when hes in college and so on.
