Oil painting in progress, but this first step has me questioning whether I should continue or is it already finished?The initial idea came from listening to Jimi Hendrix's All along the watchtower whilst searching through an online image resource of the figure and being struck by the lyrics "Too much confusion I cant get no relief" and the colour purple (which always strikes me when listening to good music) amongst other colours during his guitar work.
The next step will be the text and inclusion of other colours ... though I am confused by it in it's current form... should I repaint another sheet of paper or just continue this one.......I will figure it out
