I never really liked Firestar since he was so perfect, but I found it so sad when he died without being able to say goodbye to Sandstorm.

i don't like Firestar. He's a big jerk. Before you come screaming at me in protest, let me tell you why. Oh, also, Spoilers.
1.He killed My favorite character, Scourge.
2.At the beginning, he barges into the clan and acts tough and defeats a full grown, strong warrior.
3.In the second series, he stays and waits for the other clans, killing 2 kits in the process.
Now see? He's not such a good leader after all.

well ok uh if i may put in some of my own thoughts
1. i respect that scourge is your favourite character but scourge wasn't a very nice cat so killing him was the morally-correct course of action (i mean, he was going to kill everyone so uh)
2. i think that's more the fault of the writers but yes it was weird how he managed to defeat a full-grown cat, but it doesn't show him to be a bad character, just badly-written
3. he didn't really have a choice back then... it was either wait for more info and risk killing some, or go out into the wild and risk killing everyone
but its totally fine to dislike him for killing your favourite character, though.

Ok ,i agree with the second and a little the third, but He didn't have to KILL Scourge, he could of just ran him back to Twolegpace and of been done with him.
Also, can we keep this as a conversation and not turn it into an arguement? That tends to happen sometimes and i highly dislike it .u.

He didn't have much of a choice. Do you really think Scourge would have given up to Firestar just because he was hurt or scared? He was trying to get food for his cat, Firestar was trying to save his. One had to die, and Scourge's death did save the Clans
I personally dislike Firestar because he's too perfect and shows favoritism quite a bit, but he had a justification in killing Scourge
