Personality and Biography: Barnum Rex is a proud yet ruthless Tyrannosaurus who rules the Hell Creek Highway of Zoological City with an iron claw. Well feared and respected for his 12,814 psi bite, he is rarely challenged by other animals. However, for those that do get to know him, he is actually a relatively friendly person at heart and even helpful at times. He is quite posh on his good days and is even known for a good sense of humor.

Barnu, also seems to view human with respect for their intelligent and inventiveness, but he prefers using pure brute strength for most enemies. In spite of this, he is actually quite intelligent as well and can even be quite methodical in his plans. He does not like when humans compare him to other theropod dinosaurs, as he views other theropods as in the same league as he is due to their differences. One of his best friends is Caroline the Giganotosaurus, whom he views as being more dangerous due to her speed and size outranking even him, and the two have generally been able to avoid fights as well. He is also fascinated with the history of Zoological City and even assists in both paleontology and archaeology within the city.
