Description Metaphorical self portrait. I have a psychology degree too, so it seemed to fit to make art about mental processes.

I'm considering getting a degree in both fine arts and psychology. This piece really stands out to me. It's so thought provoking, and I feel like I resonate with it even though I cannot explicitly explain why. Nice job!

saw this in my friend 's journal and pretty much went even though it's, like, 4AM (not a very intelligent art critique, but there you have it anyway )

loving this. it will now be the image I forever associate with all my years of therapy. the green & the purple . I've been seeing it a lot. and for longer than just lately. took me a while to figure out that they're the colours of the heart and the head chakras in eastern philosophy.

Oh, wow... I'm so glad you made that correlation -- i've never even thought about how the chakra colors match with the concept of this painting! Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention! It's only been very recently that i've explored other spiritual philosophies. This painting was done 5 or 6 years ago -- before i even knew about chinese medicine and alternative spirituality. Must have been meant to be!

Thanks for the comment!

it's all pastels, too. love pastels. and there's some pale orange in there. the sacral chakra is orange. that's the stomach. so the three secondary colours, purple, green and orange, represent what appear to be the primary centres of feeling; heart, head and gut. wierd, huh?

I'm honored that you wanted to use my picture to support your thoughts on hypnotherapy. Thank you!

The only thing I noticed was the misspelling of my deviantart name. It's actually tiggir02, not trigger02. Simple to fix i hope!

Thanks again, i have no problems with you leaving the image of my painting up with your website.
