I would try adding a body, or maybe not but something soild below the face cause right now it is just floating

this is more my sort of thing... i like portraits to a certain degree... but usually its not the sort of art that really captures my imagination... this is much less rigid in its rules and layout. i love breaking 'rules' of art, mixing things that people say shouldnt be mixed./.. ideas wise at least... like the watercolour effect too.

oh, hell to it i'm gonna ask anyway.
just wondering... so many people out there draw portraits, and when you're as good as YOU are, how come you dont draw anything but faces?
just wondering, as i would love to see photorealist artists drawing...
say, a tree's bark, close up... or ... y'know, a whole person or something.
your skill level is unbelievable, why stick to only one thing?
also, it would really stand out from all the other portrait artists to diversify a little

And thankyou but I honestly feel I need to improve by a mile, I guess it's just what interests me just now and in college we are encouraged to work to our strengths so I've never really moved away from portraits before, but this has made me think actually and I think it'd be pretty nice to try something different and to challenge myself! I love the idea of something close up as I love trying to capture detail so I'm definitely gonna give this a try! thankyou!!

That is something else, wow. It looks really cool. Though maybe the hair should be multicolored as well. That's just my opinion, I don't know what effect you are aiming for.
