"MASQUE BURLESQUE ”

Be done with the apparent vulgarity
And the calm imbecility of conformed resignation!

Be done with the lazyness
of an inactive soul!

Be done with the resignation
which transpires from your fallen arms
and your numb hands,
and the fear in your dull eyes!

Be done with indecision
which make you stumble in your footsteps!

Why stifle the screams?

Let them grow as large as a giant
until they tear down the dark
Walls of your Fears!

Why extinguish the lava
that is igniting your blood?

Let it spread and expand
until it becomes a bloody river or a sea
which will torment and
Prevent your sleep
as you lay under the shadow of your worn out dagger.

Be done with the torment,
with the pretense and with the masque!

As life in that eternal now moment
is a merely a play or a unique form of burlesque theater.

Be done with it all...
And live!!!
