Floodgates, 9th entry to my (not directly) rail related picture series.

Something that shouldn't be amiss in a photographer's gallery is the stereotypical highway shot. I had tried these for several times and was quick to decide it had to be an intersection, but at the same time I didn't want to do a super urban looking one or something with spectacular bridges. Eventually I ended up photographing with a friend on the Sonnborner Kreuz at Wuppertal. The fog came in niceley low, giving the sky it's glow, all whilst we had to play a game of utter patience until finally a bunch of cars passed below us on all the lanes simultaneously, that also used the exit in bulk.
