.. this character kind of pranced into my head last night. Named herself and everything. I just did this quick sketch thing in openCanvas to try and get an idea of her design. In a way she accompanies *jennadelle 's character, Torn... in the system, she also seems to be a fragment of Tai.

A little backstory: A popular spectator sport on Earth is furrecat fighting. Sometimes furrecats who losing work ability are taken from mines for the sport, or sometimes furrecats are bred specifically for the purpose of becoming champions at it. The more wild the contestant, either in offense or defense, the better.

This character's stage name is Vampiress, or merely Vamp for short. She is one of the latter, raised specifically for the pit. In order to make her a more effective contestant, she was tortured and secluded a lot as a kitten in order to squash any sense of love or sensitivity out of her. She grew up on rage, and so as an adult is so wild with it that she has to be kept caged most of the time to keep from hurting anyone other than when she is supposed to. An extreme sadist, she derives a kind of manic pleasure out of hurting or killing as much as she can. Her success in the pit has made her somewhat legendary.

... yes, I did read "White Fang" as a kid, why do you ask?
