Okay so from now on I most likely will not be uploading anything to dA anymore. I'll still be hanging around of course because this site is still my primary means of looking at art, but this is probably it for submissions.For those who are interested in keeping up with my (very infrequent) art, including original stuff and fanart like this, I'll be keeping up a blog at tihmiishu.tumblr.com. Expect sketches and scraps-worthy doodles moreso than anything else, though.

On tumblr I can at least pretend I'm keeping a blog for myself, so I don't feel so lousy when I get no attention whatsoever :c

Like get active and stuff, join groups? People and attention doesn't just fall in your lap if you sit there.

Well yeah, I know that, but the thing is, I hardly ever draw and I don't care a whole lot about it. I'm not much of an artist, I just draw to get the occasional idea out. I'm not really capable of being as active as you. So right now it really doesn't matter if I get any feedback, I just feel like tumblr is a little less feedback-based than dA.

I guess we're opposite in that aspect! I would rather socialize and get feedback and Tumblr just isn't built for that. But, to each his own.

To be honest I've always been kind of jealous of you, not for the popularity, but for how frequently you draw :c Although I guess the lack of focus/inspiration is my own fault. I dunno, art isn't a huge deal for me, not like a lot of artists. So yeah, we definitely have a different view of art here and our sites of choice reflect that xD;

Oh yeah no never be jealous of the popularity because keeping up with so many comments and watches is literally murder. Sigh. But yeah I'm more driven to use my art as a career, and I understand there are those who just enjoy it as a hobby. I am not one of those hobbyists, though, to say the least.
