Description
This is based on a sketch I did in 2011 (which is actually featured here anatidaephobicneuro.deviantart… .I learned heaps and heaps while doing this, not sure if it shows here but next time painting should be easier and faster.
The background turned out better than I expected.
And the hair looks quite fetching if I can say so myself.

I have a question...this is obviously a little girl but the hands look like they were of an old woman...does that have a meaning or some reason? The hair are fantastic in their detail, the background is great and even the posture is somehow peaceful and horryfying at the same time...really love this peace

Nah, it's more just that my style is to add details into where the probably should be any,
so the hands ended up looking a bit more wrinkled than necessary. :-D

This is excellent, one of those times where you don't want to think too much on it, for fear that the meaning behind it will distract from the simple visual effect.

Honestly, mostly just technical and stylistic stuff,
like how to easily make really defined-looking details
and how to make most of Photoshop shortcuts and adjustment layers.
