I have NO idea how to describe it other than:Got bored in calculus a while ago, drew random shapes on lined paper, and I noticed it kinda looked like a melting/burning spade, tossed it in my portfolio sketchbook, took my portfolio interview stuff apart today -it's been sitting around for 2 months and I got accepted anyway so...-, and found it, and scanned it, and here it is.
Drawn with black micron pen, no pencil sketch -or I would've died tracing it.-. Random highlights done with a black ink pen.

I have the same habit of drawing shapes, putting swirlies on them, then turning them into simple things. Yours seems very styleized, though, kinda dark, love it.
