Meet the captain of a small merchant ship the players captured. He surrendered after 3 of the 5 mercenaries were killed. He tried to convince the other 2 to stand down but rolled low on persuasion while they rolled high on stubbornness. Captain immediately remarked "whelp, I tried..." and watched as the mercenaries were cut down and teleported over board by the players.
