Hey, after hours spendig time and nerves, I finished this High Dynamic Range panorama of the Niagara Falls. This is the view out of the canadian side.Download the original sized photo to get the maximum of details.
Technical data
Cam: Canon EOS 1000D + EF-S 18-55 @18mm
24 photos at all
8 HDR photos, each made of 3 photos with -2/0/+2 EV
Tripod used: yes
Filter used: UV filter
original resolution: 10520 x 2023 px
408 mb of raw data stored until it's finished
Software used
HDR software: Luminance 2.0.1.
Stitching Software: Autostitch
contrast & colours: DPP
Edit: changed the picture, now the horizon should be on one level.
Edit 2: Why doesn't nobody tell me, that there are visible water drops on the lens? I totally forgot about that. --> removed! Thanks to *lightrae for remembering me!
Edit 3 09.07.2011: Completely reworked! Better software -> better quality. The latest Version of Luminance HDR is much faster and stable. Hugin is many times better than autostitch... it creates a better panorama and does not reduce details. Major changes: noise reduction, colour & contrast optimizin, reduced blurr and many more details than before.

This is a great shot not just for it's photographic and technical skills but also for it's educational worth. I like most have seen many photos of Niagara Falls but it's not until seeing this that you get to really feel the enormity of this feature. Great stuff
