Description This is sunset on the small lake I usually run past during my runs. The surface of the lake is captured by thin transparent ice.

----
Закат на маленьком озере, мимо которого я часто пробегаю во время своих пробежек. Поверхность озера схвачена тонким прозрачным льдом.

beautiful catch my friend and yes I can see the thin layer of ice, it won't be long that it's covered with sparkling white snow and then once the ice is thick enough you can skate woo hoo !!

really no snow yet!! that's amazing Til , what would be considered a normal snowfall amount from let us say from November till now? we have had 22.1 inches of snow since October but it all melted especially due to the fact it was 69 and 70 degrees f  last week  but its 20f now and snowing the prediction is for about 5 to 6 inches ..0oo I can hear the plow going by outside as I type this ...its been a weird winter here too cause its been unusually warm ..when we do get snow it is melted away in a day or two, we have not hit 0-f degrees yet this winter but one night it did get down to about 4f but then within a few days we were back up in the 40's f I'm no scientist Til my awesome friend but I believe that global warming is changing everything we once knew ...0oo now I can feel my floor vibrating as the big snow trucks pass by ...hey have some fun with your friends get high and laugh haha love ya my friend

your friend will know what a nor'easter is for weather forecasters are predicting a major nor'easter to barrel up the east coast in time for groundhogs day Feb. 02  starting in the Gulf of Mexico it usually hits landfall around the Florida panhandle into Georgia then hugs the coast up thru the Carolinas , Virginia, Washington dc and Baltimore to new york and finally slamming into New England, we have not had one yet this season, if it is a mean one we will not be measuring snow in inches but in feet personally I'm hoping it misses us and blows out to sea lol. well we will see ...yeah we have had more ice than actual snow this year too so far, how does your friend like Baltimore? that's where the author  Edgar Allen Poe lived and wrote his dark horror stories cool lol
