As missions go, this one didn't turn out like I expected at all really!I was supposed to get in, get the intel & get out - but as usual Dravis has me doing S&D protocol missions when I'm only getting paid for reconnaissance.
Normally I wouldn't complain, but the bots on this rock have way too much shielding for their purpose - and are all but indestructible, with more surplus shielding than you can shake a concussion suppressor at!So, here I sit playing possum - hoping some lost bot takes an interest and gets close enough for me to use an EMP, that way at least I can finally get some real R&R(recharge, restock & repair). for Descent's Material Defender's pilot avatar!

I can tell you how to do it, it's really simple.. at least in theory.
Personally I'm a big user of them, but not so good at making them myself... but really, it's not hard to do.

It's simple. Follow these steps.
1. Create a brand new dA profile page withe the name of what you want the icon to be called. Traditionally these accounts all have the letters PLZ added onto them. In this icon's case, for example, you might want to call it RAengineerPLZ. Sometimes a suitable name can be hard to find as others have used them already for other things. You may also need to create a new email to use to make the new account, but there are multiple free and easy ways to do that.
2. You will need to edit the emote, one way or another to make it's size (in data) to be 15kb, or the same limit as any other dA icon used for a profile. This is often the hardest bit to do. See, at the moment this above icon is a little over 25kb. To use it as an icon like this you'll need to find a way to make it 15kb or less.
3. Log into the new account, and upload the picture as the account's avatar icon.
4. Then, whenever you want to use this in chat or anywhere use the code :icon (name of account) : minus the spaces. The actual icon iteself will not show up until you send it or click on comment preview.
And it is as simple as that.
