Description
The coat of arms of the German Federation is a modified version of a coat of arms briefly used as symbol of the failed German Empire. In 1848, German nationalists sought to united the German speaking states into one unified states, but the attempt failed horribly because neither Austira nor Prussia intended to fuse together.After World War I, France unified the German states and German Austria into the German Federation. On an administrative level, the many small indpendent duchies were fused together into larger, more practicable autonomous republics. Vienna became the capital of the Federation.
