Description In anxious anticipation of the DVD release, here's the movie versions of The Watchmen done in comic style...isn't it sad how Nite Owl's movie costume is better than any Batman movie costume to date?

Sad, indeed. Costume was too awesome for Nite Owl's funny-looking one from the comic. God, I loved Snyder's work on redisigning the costumes.
Thank god he didn't put bat nipples on Ozy's costume too.

yeah, youre right about nite owls costume... to be fair, i think dans costume in the comic was easier to convert that way. compared to batmans comic costume, it was much more a three-dimensional thing. batman usually is reduced to a graphic shape for drama effect - no way youll ever get that effect across in an actual costume someone has to wear.

re the actual picture - i think you did a good job depicting the characteristics of the bunch. (just for canon continuity: if laurie is that grown already, shouldnt the comedian already have his scar, given how young laurie was in the opener when vietnam war news were on tv?)
also, good job on hiding dans belly for good PR

Good point about the costumes - It's true, Batman's costume is always coolest when reduced to a silhouette or graphic element....just wish they'd pull-back & simplify the designs in the movies, enough with the layered body armor shapes, he looks like a mech.

Oops! Nice catch, you're right, he should have the scar by that point. I may have to revisit this one because I just realized I never shaded Rorschach's mask either.
