This work of yours is really great, but it looks almost the same as the one we had for reference [link] In fact I thought it was the same one, and I was confused. I hate when we have to color lines which have already been colored by amazing people... it's so difficult to forget what THEY have done. But I have the feeling you didn't even see the image and you colored this without reference but got to the exact same palette by chance. Sometimes intuition works perfectly and you get the best palette without references.

Whoa. No I never did see that one. Damn, I wish I would've searched a bit more. I was only having a hard time finding refs and only able to find: [link] to tell me what herc's costume looked like. Now I feel like I ripped, but like I told FalyneVarger I just love the combination of teal/turquoise and yellow/gold. So with so much yellow on hobgob I thought that would be the best color choice. Apparently I'm not the only one

I'm not 100% certain myself, the refs were really hard to find for hercules, but for hobgoblin Id say its fairly close

Herc's hair came out nicely. :3 The transparency in the fire is a nice touch.
And props to you for sticking with the original colors. There was too much yellow in Hobgoblin's outfit for me to comfortably stick to it.

I've always liked the combination of teal/turquoise and yellow, to me its a really strong set. In fact, looking back I see that the first time I entered a color battle with the buffy/hellboy piece, I put the blond in a teal shirt

I think I just dislike yellow in general. lol But it does have it's place in the color spectrum.
