This was one of the strangest grave markers I have ever found. It was in an old cemetery in the middle of the mojave desert. Nothing else marks the grave.Related content

It's a woman's hand for sure, but who's? there was no writing, just a ring of stones to mark the grave. Such an interesting place don't you think?

I get the feeling it was made after her own hand looking like that...now I start to wonder if maby she was holding something in her hand when they found her...grin ( here goes my great imagination again lol )

it was really cool/creepy, the place had lots of strange markers, a women who lived to be 107 had her brass bed as part of her grave. Desert people are interesting

I really like this one. It looks like it's a fist, rather than just a hand, perhaps in rage over God and cruel fate.

I love this one, it's nails are really cool too. Yeah, I think there is a quote from Antigone, "Man is at his best when he is on his knees shaking his fist at god"

That is so weird. I think that is one of the coolest things to find. I wonder if the person who died was a hand model :0 But seriously that is so weird. I bet you didn't expect to find something like that

Oh yeah? What other kind of things did they have there? Yes i do. I live down the street from a 1700's cemetery. I love cemetery's. They are so unique and don't know what you will find! and thank you! lol

one grave had the woman's brass bed frame around it, one had a motorcycle tank as a headstone, all kinds of things

that sounds like a great place to explore. I wish i had more things like that around where I live.
