I have two other sketches that I did for the steampunk concept, but I think I'm going to hold back on uploading them until I add some finishing touches on both. Anyway, I really wanted to add a steampunk element to the tricycle sketches that were due (a few weeks ago) so I went with a steampunk tricycle and its fanciful rider. Enjoy!Related content

I might go back and expand when I have the time. But for now it'll just be another sketch.

I really like the idea, but I think it could have been executed a bit better imo.
Some things I think that you could work on is cleanliness because the details are important in this piece, so to sell them, it'd be good to clean the coloring up a bit.
Also, I think the background could have been made a bit simpler (like a shape or something to make the composition work a bit better).
The face also needs some work to be a bit more appealing and overall, expressive. Of course, anatomy and perspective could also be worked on, but I didn't bother to talk about those because I think this piece has a lot of potential. It would work better IMO if you just fixed those certain areas.
Just a few pointers as a critique.

Thanks! I appreciate the critique, that kind of stuff means a lot to me. But, if it looks a little thrown together, it was just a quick sketch. There are plenty of problem areas in this one. It's great to hear a critique from someone about something that isn't a MoD comic. I can't say enough how much I appreciate that.
