Description 70 years ago, J.R.R. Tolkien's "THE LORD OF THE RINGS" was the astounding fantasy epic that has enchanted one generation after another, telling THEM where human civilization might have begun.

And even though I'm only just doing all this for fun, for myself, and especially for the art, hopefully soon, in the foreseeable future, I shall present to the world a whole new -- and altogether more extraordinarily remarkable -- breed of fantasy epic, that is going to enchant this generation or the next, telling US where civilization might be heading as well: to that big somewhere out there, if you will, in the stars out in space.

PLANET OF THE TOONS, my dream passion project as of now, and of which this Photoshop mashup cartoon fan crossover concept art piece, is only just the latest, is going to be not only among the latest cinematic film mega-productions ever to reach Hollywood in quite some time -- especially if it were to be a technically brilliant modern celluloid theatrical big screen film extravaganza to be filmed in the 65mm anamorphic widescreen Ultra Panavision 70 process famously employed for the 1959 Ben-Hur movie by William Wyler and starring Charlton Heston as well as Quentin Tarantino's 2015 western The Hateful Eight and Garth Edwards' AI-themed science fiction epic The Creator from last year, except for some certain huge action portions to be filmed in actual 70mm IMAX film like in some scenes from Christopher Nolan's 2008 superhero epic The Dark Knight, and even if it may take a series of individual epic films, probably up to twenty-four good or great epic films or way less (and each running up to a full duration of three or even four hours plus overture, intermission, entr'acte and exit music for each epic film) to tell the whole story (especially if it runs up to a full one hundred hours in total or way less); and similar to Peter Jackson's three film The Lord of the Rings adaptation, I want the whole entire Planet of the Toons saga of mine (especially my whole entire vision for such) to one day be done in one go, with some additional filming and some additional animation and effects work along the way, and all without any consideration to those who might watch the second, or the third, or even the twenty-fourth epic film without seeing the previous epic film installments first, so each epic film (twenty four in all or way less) is going to follow directly after the other one, and is also going to depend upon the others to tell the whole, entire, complete story, maybe like up to twenty four or less four hour or less epic chapters in a single one hundred hour story; so back to back filmmaking is going to be the only way possible even for me to do justice to my whole, entire, complete vision for the Planet of the Toons saga; otherwise, having to wait on a sequel to a film may result in spiraling costs and loss of narrative flow and consistency...

But Planet of the Toons is also going to be a exciting, fun, and breathtakingly magical hybrid combination of live action and animation both mainly traditional 2d hand drawn as well as occasional 3D digital CG animation elements (especially in the actual technical style of 1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit and 1996's Space Jam(, as well as epic fantasy and some science fiction elements--in other words something inspired by Star Wars, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the James Cameron AVATAR films so far, as well as The Lord of the Rings, among a few other things, which is also going to be, hopefully, a great or very good saga of a film that shall argue for the timeless belief that good will always triumph over evil, even if it's all acted out by traditional 2d hand drawn animated cartoon characters like An American Tail's Fievel and Tanya, Looney Tunes' Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, and Dexter's Laboratory's Dexter and Mandark (the latter being of Ego Trip infamy), as well as live human actors, real environments and real props, too!

Anyway, when everything shall all be said and done and completed one day, hopefully my amazing, exciting and fun if also sprawling sweeping "Toon Town in Space" fantasy epic's version of events is going to boil down to all this:

Beyond the farthest reaches of space and of your imagination, and especially deep within the human heart, here, in a near future known as the late twenty-first century, on what is known as Ten'Jad, a faraway planet resembling another Earth but which isn't technically our own Earth, one that orbits the twin stars Odysseus and Penelope, also known as Alpha Gemini A and Alpha Gemini B, respectively, a tale shall be told...a remarkable and extraordinary tale of sprawling, sweeping epic proportions...a tale of adventurous deeds and living sentient beings made up of living sentient traditional 2d hand drawn animated cartoon ink and paint...a tale of a day and age when a great shadow will fall across the faraway Ten'Jadean earth, and a young, pretty teenage or young adult cartoon girl mouse being of enlarged, unusual size and height of a young human woman (Don Bluth and Steven Spielberg's An American Tail's Fievel's sister Tanya Mousekewitz, or the Cathy Cavadini-voiced, Fievel Goes West version of her, in particular), will find herself locked in mortal combat with the dark forces of a certain evil cartoon rival nerd (Mandark of Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip infamy) of a certain cartoon boy genius kid scientist (Dexter of Dexter's Laboratory fame), even to the point of the latter's transformation into a fire breathing dragon for a heroine like Miss Tanya of Fievel Goes West fame to slay once and for all, in order for Tanya and Fievel to avenge themselves against Mandark in compensation for the destruction of The Mousekewitz Family's native village of Shostka through a fiery dragon attack (even if the dragon attacking the Mousekewitzes' village of Shostka in my epic work in progress just happen to be Mandark trying to prevent from coming true a prophecy foretelling the coming of age of a first born cartoon girl mouse and divine warrior toon diva like Tanya Mousekewitz who will not only become a singer, but will also come to bring about Mandark's downfall.

And, with the raging War of Mice and Dragons, there shall draw the real blood of human heroes as well as the ink and paint blood of cartoon heroes, and the final destiny of mankind and cartoonkind on Ten'Jad as well as the fate and future of our own planet Earth shall all be written. And finally, last but not least, three human explorers from Earth (high school animation student/cartoonist David Zarus, eccentric yet learned scientist Professor Jason Adams, and the latter's daughter Samantha Adams) and their chimpanzee mascot (George) shall work with a cute trio of talking brother and sister talking cartoon mice of unusual human size (An American Tail's Fievel, Tanya and Yasha Mousekewitz, or their Fievel Goes West designs, rather), a rascally talking cartoon rabbit (Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies' Bugs Bunny),a greedy, crazy darn fooled talking cartoon duck (Daffy Duck, also from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies) and a redhaired humanlike cartoon boy genius kid scientist (Dexter, the title character of Genndy Tartakovsky's first Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory), and they shall all stand together in a small but single, noble army of ten human and cartoon companions, and combined with other human and cartoon allies from all around Ten'Jad, planet of the toons, they shall thunder in battle against all hosts of darkness at the very gates of Tsam Khar, Mandark's Dark Tower in the Far North-east-land of Ardynut.

Hopefully, this shall be the legend of Ten'Jad, planet of the toons, as it shall be written in the hearts of both animated ink and paint cartoon-kind as well as real flesh and blood humanity, not to mention, a world as real and believable as, if more so than any other (Earth included), and a breathtaking, wondrous, fun and even exciting world out in space where magical innocence and wholesome good shall overcome evil and darkness, that simple courage, love, and friendship shall conquer fear and oppression, and even a single dream shall STILL be MORE powerful than up to a thousand realities; and finally, last but not least, this shall be the magnificent gift that even I shall hopefully, one day, leave to the human heart, and which shall hopefully come alive on the big screen, especially as a Roger Rabbit/Space Jam-styled live action/animated science fiction fantasy film epic, not to mention a sprawling , sweeping epic, as well as feel-good and aspirational vision beyond imagination as well as the farthest reaches of space.

Anyway, here, Fievel's sister Miss Tanya Mousekewitz of An American Tail: Fievel Goes West fame, this time clad in battle armor just like a knight in shining armor (or rather like Joan of Arc, although unlike that French heroine who got betrayed to her fiery death and destruction by the English who burn her at the stake in 1431, or 593 years ago, Tanya Mousekewitz of Fievel Goes West fame shall really live to tell the tale), brandishes the magic sword of the Emerald Flame and the Invincible Shield of Justice as The Dark Lord Mandark Astronomenov transforms himself spectacularly into a terrifying fire breathing dragon for her to ultimately slay with the mighty magic sword.

This is going to be an intense battle to the death, or wouldn't it be so?
