Description
Well here it is, the finished first character lineup for my re-imagining of Batman. (Left to Right): Batman, Joker, Two Face and Penguin. I really enjoyed drawing these characters and really challenged in improving my character designing skills.

Now on to the headcanon/re-imaging of my version of the Batman universe or Bat-Verse.

(Bruce Wayne/Batman)

Bio: Billionaire philanthropist and notorious playboy Bruce Wayne at day, lives a secret double life as the dark vigilante of Gotham City known as Batman. As a child Bruce witnessed the death of beloved parents at gun point by a mugger. Forever scaring him and opening his eyes to the corruption and crime around him. Shortly after graduating Bruce left Gotham for seven years without anybody knowing where he was. Now Bruce has returned home to take over Wayne Enterprises and cleans the streets of Gotham's criminals as the caped crusader.

(Jack Napier/The Joker)

Bio: No one really knows who the Joker was before. However according to some Joker was a failed comedian and gangster by the name of Jack Napier. Jack was born in New Jersey who was an orphan that spent most of his childhood being passed down through abusive foster families until he turned 18. Moving to Gotham Jack tried to start up his career as a comedian but wasn't very good at it. He eventually meet his wife Jeannie Kerr and the two were married with a kid on the way. However they weren't very wealthy and lived in almost poverty. Jack turned to the mob for money leading him to becoming an unstable violent sociopath and paved way into making him the clown prince of crime.

(Harvey Dent/Two Face)

Bio: Growing up Harvey Dent had strong sense of both right and wrong. His father was an alcoholic and would abuse his son while flipping a coin on whether or not to beat him up. As a young adult Harvey became a lawyer rising up to the high ranks due to his clean record and charming charisma. Becoming the youngest person to become district attorney of Gotham City, Harvey sought to rid of organised crime bosses such as the Falcone and Maroni's. However this made him a target, resulting in the right half of his face being melted off by acid. With his psyche shattered he became Two Face.

(Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot/The Penguin)

Bio: The Cobblepot family were fairly known rivals of the Wayne family dating back to the founding days of Gotham City. Oswald's parents unlike the Bruce's were cold and negligent towards the struggling of others of lower class. As a child Oswald was looked down upon by them due to his "disfigurement" and was often kept out of the public's eye in fear of risking their social status. Eventually the Cobblepot family went bankrupt and both parents died. Alone Oswald resorted to a life of crime becoming a major player kingpin in Gotham known as the Penguin.

That's all I have so far, but I'll be working on the next Batman character lineup with Catwoman, Scarecrow, The Riddler and Mr Freeze. Till then, enjoy!
