Probably my least favourite character out of the ASOUE series is Mr Arthur Poe, the bumbling banker. Not only does he fail to find the Baudelaire Orphans a decent guardian, he literally does nothing to help in any kind of situation throughout the entire story! Not that any other adult figures could do any better. In his left hand is a handkerchief ready for a coughing fit at anytime.BUMBLING, a word meaning acting in a confused or incompetent manner.
