I penciled this scratchingly on the bus en route to Auckland this weekend gone. As both sets of my siblings will be overseas on the 25th we had our official family Christmas gathering early. It was less than amiable, shall we say; marred by in-law issues on game-day... That said, my holiday was refreshing for its part and I got a new car in an semi-related process over the same weekend. It has a manual transmission and that is all that matters. I will pay my wonderous parents back when I can afford to, honest...

It is a difficult thing to represent sound using a visual medium. Perhaps it is easier to represent the feeling one gets when making said sound. Guitarists among you should resound with ~scheurbert 's emotion and also may recognise in my drawing the 'beat' that is a handy key to accurate tuning.

I'm not one for the Les Paul myself, but it turns out that this girl is. I won't judge her. My jazz-box is shoulder-achingly heavy, too.
