well it sounds like your on the right track, just make sure you read all the sickies like I did, just keep improving and its all about trail and error I cant tell you how many mistake I've made during this project but it just makes you better. Good luck

This has a much more "toon" or "comic" feel to it then the one in the movie. Honestly I like the look of yours better.

Thanks, its ok but I really dont like this one as much anymore so I've already restarted making another one i guess you could call it my mark 2 that one is fiberglassed already but not finished due to cold weather and this one is just sitting as a paper weight for now.

Well if I had to grade this work I'd give it a grade EPIC! Simply because there's no other Ironman mask I've seen that looks this good. This looks likes it's straight from the movie

wow another one huh thats crazy! hey, do you think I could ask you something? I know you use cardboard and all, but there has to be a certian type of cardborad you are using. I am jumping at the bit to go out and buy a truck load of cardboard and try my hand a costume of some sort, I even downloaded Pepakura and it's very helpful, but now I need to know the right materials to buy. Also, what type of paint or coloring devices do you use to color your projects with? I'm sorry I wrote this long comment it's just recently I've been digging into all this and I wanna make sure I have the right knowledge before I go creating things, and thank you.

GREAT WORK! I was planning on trying to make me an Iron Man suit in the future and maybe a few other types of costumes. Nice to try something different every once in a while.

Very good, but like you said it's not perfect. However, it's WAY better than anything I can do! I'd like to see more or your works... Just curious, are you planning on completing the IM suit? That would just be amazing. Good luck on Master Chief and, if your going to make it, another try at the helmet. <3

its cardboard with bondo on top. this is not the cast yet but I will make some. it is wearable

Does cardboard lose it's strength while you make a mold of it?

not if its been bondod its practically water proof and very hard I may not mold this version I'm looking into making it slightly different version to get it looking closer to the real thing
