this is brilliant, i really love it.
AC: because you were shooting at 1.8 the flower infront of where the focus falls is a bit too out of focus and distract the eye, making the foreground seem a little to blury, so it dusnt stand out as much. without that flower there, it owuld have been perfect.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind as I'm planning on reshooting this photo.. I just bought an external flash and thought that might help the photo a bit as well.

i don't know much about composition rules, but i see in this photo a beautiful rain in many colors falling over deep yellow flowers, and now i can't find a better way to shot it. i think it's great

i love it. i like the colour of the flowers, and how the background is just blur, and you can't tell what it is.
