This is a brand new shopping center in Kamppi (in Helsinki), I saw it for the first time this weekend... And I immediately wanted to pack my bags and move back to Helsinki! All those boutiques.. clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery...
...Ah yeah, the photo. The view from the top floor was quite nice, and it reminded me of those beautiful staircase photos you often see here at DA. I've been posting a lot of black and white photographs lately and considered it with this one too for a long time, but I quite liked the original colours so in the end decided to leave it like this. well, i have to add myself to the people giving you compliments on this shot! I think this one would have looked in B&W a lot more dramatic, but then it would also be like so many of the other shots we see around here. I like that you left it in colors, they are quite out of the ordinary (pastel-like?). Nice selection of the circles to fit into the rectangle!

What really makes this oustanding to me is the people. It's so interesting view because of how some people are in groups, some in pairs, some alone. Standing still, enjoying the view, rushing to a store... it's fabulous. But the architecture is equally as nice, and it's complimented very much by your composition. Well done
