Coahoma and Bayer!!

These two have their own whole little arc and I. Really love them about it. Back in 2017 they start having something but don’t really tell anyone about it or address it; it’s very private, just like both of their histories, and I think in some way they both subconsciously have a feeling that they're not in a situation where openness pays. Sure enough shit falls apart in October, and these two are probably the most 'on the outside' of it but entangled by their occupations, living situations, and interpretations. But Audrianna does her sleuthing and eventually Bryluen's whole facade crumbles in the face of you've been literally feeding everyone lies about everything to keep us all on edge and under your control you bitch wtf!

It's a fucked up thing to go through and try to heal from, and even though everything's "worked out" Coah feels,,, disenchanted. and sometime in 2019 she packs up and leaves NYC, just kinda tired and citing bad memories. Everyone’s sad to see her go, especially Bayer, despite their agreement to stay in contact and that they would be friends regardless. He's deffo in love and she's probably lowkey in love but stuck in her head, so she breaks it off ("I'm not doing long distance and i dunno if I'm coming back. you'll be fine, Bay")
Still, they promise to stay in contact and remain friends and everything...but he's Sad (as are her other friends but yanno he's capital S sad)

then in 2020 the pandemic hits and when Coah hears abt how bad NYC is being hit, it's this massive wake-up call for her. Distraught by how badly NYC was ravaged, she takes off from Cincinnati and heads back, having realized she doesn’t want to keep packing up and leaving when things go bad; that the good people and memories back in NY outweighed the bad ones and she wanted the life she led to be there, with them-- life was never gonna be a perfect, bump-free ride anyway. She might as well spend it w people she loves.

...she comes back and they just end up back together bc im a SAP so i want a whole dramatic cinematic scene where like she gets back and she has to quarantine for 2 weeks or get tested and wait for the results and its MISERABLE but eventually its fine and she can FINALLY see him up close again and she just sprints directly into him, yanks his mask down and kisses him

i had to draw that phone booth twice bc of a computer crash and coah's burn scar took forever to texture but now is barely visible, the skyline was a nightmare and so were Bayer's tattoos. i hate art but here i am.
