playing around with my boy's face. I feel like i'm getting better at combining features from references into something unique, so i'm experimenting with trying to draw my characters closer to how I see them in my head rather than going so heavily off of singular approximate facial referencesbc sure, paul boche has features that ring as kato for me--but so do niclas gillis and noen eubanks and dylan rieder. having one singular "face claim" just wasn't working, so i'm gonna try and give my boy his own,, heckin,,, face

I always use references when I draw human characters, Problem is I suck at Line Art XD

line art is honestly So Tedious, that's why i've been uploading colored sketches so much recently, haha! i really struggle with using references for some reason?? I just can't seem to translate what i'm seeing to what im drawing, or at least not easily
