Thank you for reading! I enjoyed your Guitar Lesson comic - I'm definitely in the Sans + Toriel camp.

Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed them. In truth, I would approach a few of these differently today, so I'm resisting the urge to alter them (but I feel that way about most of my older poetry).

Ah, I know what you mean. Nearly every time I peruse through my older poetry I want to rework all of it, haha.

I've heard (and can understand)Β the arguments on both sides of that fence. I do like that I can peruse my old works and see evidence of my progression as a writer. And there is something to be said for the impulses of the moment. Ultimately, though, I want my poems to be the best expression I can provide, so I have gone back and reworked a few.

Two, three, and five are my favourites, I think.
Your haiku are absolutely stunning. You've really captured imagery in its simplest form and still made it enough to call exquisite. Well done.

Everyone loves the spider haiku! The frog is my favorite of these.

I do think that out of those three, the frog one was the best. It had a nice...innocence to it.

Have I ever mentioned that I adore your haiku? I can't even pick a favorite here.

I remember the frog and spider haikus. I still like them.

I took out the "Me?" at the end of the second line in the spider haiku. Too many breaks and I no longer care about the syllables. Plus, it's implied.

The hen house seems a bit out of place, but I adore the others, especially the first two and the final. <3

I was unsure about that one. I may remove it.

I like the second one- frog haiku- a lot. And I really love the eighth one (did you realize it was the eighth in the list?) about the spider. I've seen that one before!

I moved some of these (including spider) from my 100 themes list. The frog is one of my favorites! We get frogs and crickets in here all the time and I have to try to escort them safely out.
