Not the best pictures of it, but hopefully it'll be more visible when I get actual pictures of the completed cosplay. When I originally cosplayed Max, I just used cardboard strips covered with silver chrome duct tape and reinforced with pieces of hanger for the knee brace. This time, I wanted it to be sturdier and longer lasting, as well as more authentic (the original one was bending horribly and likely wouldn't survive another day at a con, and on top of that just looked really bad up close), so I went to a hardware store and got some metal frame pieces. They're screwed together and to the three belts using Chicago screws and washers. Originally I was going to attach them to the knee pad as well, but that didn't end up working.
