So I was talking to a friend a couple of weeks ago about a scene I was working on for Chapter 6 of my comic. I can't give away too many spoilers but it was a scene that made my friend come up with a theory. What if Antony falls in love with Nora? But he is repulsed that he feels this way about her because his whole existence before he met her he was driven to win the respect of Danny (who wants to get rid of Nora, for those that don't know). So he is tormented with these feelings and has this internal struggle with his true feelings for her and his desire to please Danny. All while Nora is oblivious to this because she doesn't feel the same way.

I instantly thought of Hellfire the song from Hunchback of Notre Dame and had to draw it out. I didn't go watch it as I normally would have so the scene is just inspired by that one particular scene. I wasn't trying to fully recreate it. But I am sure it is easy to tell what scene was in my mind for it from the song.

Just in case anyone is wondering, officially it won't be confirmed or denied at any time in the comic or stories. It is just a fun friend theory that they came up with. But I have no plans in it really making an appearance either way in the comic. I always love crazy "shippings" of my characters even if they don't make sense. Serious ones that actually have an interesting theory or just silly ones "just cause." It always gives me a chuckle. My best friend 1mercury1 used to always come up with them when she was alive. My characters together or my characters and her characters. I have missed her silliness over the past few years since her passing so I was glad to have that come back, even for a moment.

(I know kind of a weird time to post it after some of the scenes from my comic recently. I found it was close enough to Tony Jay's (the voice actor who played Frollo in the English version of Disney's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame) birthday. (Even though he passed away in 2006, my friend, Mercury, and I used to always watch his movies and tv shows and send clips to each other on his birthday as she and her family were big fans.) So since this idea came a couple of weeks ago I thought it would be fitting to post it today.)
