Amazing contrast against the sun... and the color on the water (liquid gold indeed) is unbelievably beautiful!!!

Very nice Tim. Is that golden light common there or was it one of those extraordinary days?

The sun was shining gold through a thick fog, but I added a lot also

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

-- Robert Frost

That's the first thing I thought of when I looked at this one. Beautiful work baby.

Some of these like this aren't my "thang" but I appreciate the talent and beauty of the capture.

Thanks very much I'm working hard on these skies due to my sensor in my camera being dirty So I'm adding some color and doing a lot of smudging

You are so welcome. I know about those nasty little spots. Unfortunately, the shutter button on my Canon broke so the whole electronic circuit had to be replaced - not cheap, but they threw in cleaning both the sensor and viewfinder for free. Now the nasty spots are gone. You can sometimes just clone over them instead of smudging.

I've been using the method in the owner's manual of flipping the mirror and gently blowing with a can of air, but I think I'm going to have to take it to a professional, which I am sure will be a two hour drive

When you do, buy a cleaning kit from him and have him show you how to do it yourself. It's a little complicated but not back if you have any mechanical ability at all. It will be well worth it.

I suppose you could probably buy a cleaning kit cheaper online but I found the extra paid for the kit to my repairman was well worth it in the free lesson. You're welcome.
