My first big break in comics came right around the turn of the century/millennium, working on the DC Comics series Batman: Gotham Adventures, which was based on the animated TV show The New Batman Adventures . It was a dream come true for me, it jumpstarted my comics career, and I got to work with some amazing people, including the wonderfully talented Scott Peterson , who took over writing B:GA at the same time I began drawing it.

There's something I like about this page ... the way the conversation between Batman and Robin plays out over their drive from Point A to Point B ... the varying camera angles ... that Eastern Orthodox church ... the way the first few panels overlap the big final one ... the fact that Batman speaks Russian ... the way the Batmobile's headlights shine on the street ... Robin's last line ... all of the above? I don't know. Anyway, I hope you like it too
