Since April Fool's Day is on the horizon, I figured I'd make a little collage out of something that's been plaguing my mind for awhile since April Fool's is the most appropriate time to talk about the absurd idea of a Japanese toy company acquiring not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not even 7, but 8 other establishments.

As stated previously, Disney has made a HUGE army out of themselves with their acquisitions of The Muppets, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and now Fox, but what if Bandai were to acquire some other companies with intend to get in the race that's being lead by Disney? The 8 companies that I feel would be the best fit for Bandai would be DHX Media, Mattel, Studio Ghibli, Fox Sports Networks, Lionsgate, CBS Corporation, EA, and Sony's Film, Television, and Music Record Assets.

Bandai x DHX Media: Bandai would inherit A LOT of childhoods if they acquired DHX.

Bandai x Mattel: This is a horizontal merger (when two companies that participate in the same industry merge), so it may not go through, but if Disney x Fox went through, this can too. And don't worry Hasbro. There's always VTech, Kids II, and Spin Master.

Bandai x Studio Ghibli: With Ghibli's recent complications, maybe Bandai would let them have an epic return-to-form.

Bandai x Fox Sports Networks: Disney has been ordered by our government to sell off Fox Sports Networks within 90 days after completing their Fox acquisition, and this is Day 13. I feel that Bandai would be a great suitor for the networks as far as re-branding goes, but the clock is ticking.

Bandai x Lionsgate: Lionsgate did say at one point that they were open to an acquisition, and I feel Bandai would be a great suitor.

Bandai x CBS Corporation: Bandai would have to get through the Redstones first, but when they do, CBS will be worth every penny, I'm sure.

Bandai x Electronic Arts: With EA being one of the most infamous companies in the realms of gaming, Bandai could hopefully steer them in the right direction.

Bandai x Sony (Entertainment & Music Assets Only): NOTE: This deal would exclude Sony's electronic and gaming assets, such as PlayStation. It only includes their Film, Television, and Music Record Assets.
