More practice art...
Just a sweet, gentle thing I doodled up. I really admire the Secret of Nimh film for its beautiful animation and directing. I have a love hate relationship though with it being that it is full of very traditionalist morals (ex: the mother needing a husband, Justin, to bring stability to her family). And the fact Bluth has used his cartoons as a vehicle to teach the core morals behind his fundamentalist religious beliefs. But I sympathize with the fact Bluth tried to bring back traditionalist animation at a time it was starting to die to pave way for this current era of easily crafted animated CGI films.

Some new cartoons like Zootopia can look good, but they have none of the physical intimate vibrancy of something that was drawn and photographed using the best artisan craftsmanship. Nothing can replace that and its a shame so many people are so used to digital media as to not care.
