I had this idea, what if baby Stegosaurs were bipedal? I mean, the thyreophora dinosaurs have some members that are suggested to be bipedal like Scelidosaurus and Scutelosaurus and a few others. I am just suggesting that the really young babies could have walked and run on their back legs as they had absolutely no defense aside form big-mama. the less young-ones would be walking on 4 legs whilst running on 2 as it is beneficial for them and allows survival to increase a bit more. Adults are slow and heavy staying on 4 legs but being able to defend themselves very well.Sorry for the crappy pic, I just couldn't find a better way to picture this.

While I'm not sure about steglings being facultatively bipedal or even obligate, there's some tracks made by a group of infant diplodocid sauropods in Late Jurassic tracks iirc. So there's that I guess to speculate on!

No worries, but could've been a thing for the more basal stegosaurians possibly. Isaberrysaura seems to point in that direction imo.
