Friend of mine is running a D&D 3.5 game and I play this half-elf druid. The campaign started with her getting news of her father being murdered, so I haven't had the chance to RP her as the cheerful care-free type person I imagined her to be, but that will happen in time.
Anyway, I scoured the net for a pose that would capture Tam. Photographic, artistic, anything. The one that just struck me as perfect was this piece of art: [link]
I used nothing but the pose, and even changed that a little. Hope you all enjoy.

That's a good point. But it probably has to do with the fact that in fantasy, women's hair is always clean and groomed, even after they have been through a very rough time.

Heh. In the latest game session with her, one of her team mates woke from a nightmare and started calling Tam's wolf companion a "bad dog". Tam listened, heard her story, the nightmare. Then said "Appologize to Timber. You called him bad." and Xia goes "but... nightmare... and" to which Tam says, "When people accused you of killing my father, I didn't call you bad. Apologize!"
The entire gaming group was all "DAMN! Tam's pulling all the stops!" XD
But yeah. She is a sweet ally. Horrible enemy.

It looks like the picture came out wonderfully. It looks like you got a little glow on the rightmost tree under the upper branch; I'm not sure if that was intentional or accidentally left in. Beyond that, I think the hair effect and the fade in the background worked nicely.

Saw that smudge, but the weird thing... couldn't get rid of it. O.o The erase tool no worky on it. So I said "oh well..." and left it as is. Shrank the pic, then noticed I hadn't shaded her ear, so I shaded it real quick. XD A pic like this, there's a lot of last minute "Oh yeah!" details. The part I'm most proud of color-wise is the background. I used a fade from blue to green. Just blue on it's own didn't do the trick, but blue with green seemed to be just right!
