Wow, I really like the semi abstract nature. At first I couldn't tell what this was, but then I noticed the escalators. The HDR effect works wonderfully in this setting. The metal tones are quite prominent, which adds to that futuristic tone.

I love the structural components in this. See what you mean about keeping it realistic looking. The contrasts are awesome though, especially with the details on the ceiling portion.

WoW! WOW! woW!

I been to airport so many times, and yet seen anything near this photo. the colour looks very metallic and futuristic.

A airport captures that dont look like one.
GREAT JOB!

this is awesome. good HDR because theres still lots of contrast and depth! (people tend to go too overboard)

Timothy-Sim In reply to kikkums [2009-03-12 22:44:03 +0000 UTC]

thanks! i quite agree with you. i hate it when people really push the HDR until you see the visible lines that spoil the image.

QueijoDntorna In reply to Timothy-Sim [2009-01-25 03:14:34 +0000 UTC]

hum... I'll be reading something about this matter cos the final result is really great . [do you need some specific camera or my 450D is able to get this kind of image!?] sorr for all the questionary xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Timothy-Sim In reply to QueijoDntorna [2009-01-25 03:39:46 +0000 UTC]

not a problem at all. yes your 450D can do it

capture 3 exposures (auto bracket a -1 a 0 and a +1 exposure) and then post process it as a HDR piece on photomatix

you can check out too

QueijoDntorna In reply to Timothy-Sim [2009-01-25 09:13:59 +0000 UTC]

81firestorms [2009-01-18 15:08:28 +0000 UTC]

this is great! how much time do you spend on an averagre hdr ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Timothy-Sim In reply to 81firestorms [2009-01-18 15:17:32 +0000 UTC]

thank you

the average ones huh.. hmm. roughly 10-15 minutes if i don't go and piss or shit in between.

that's also because I already have a few hdr saved settings i pull up and do minor toggles for each piece that I want to make a theme with.

photoshop post processing is mostly just levels, saturations and sometimes a little bit of curves to bring home the feeling.
