do u sketch with a blue pencil before u use normal pencil?

I use a blue pencil first and do a very basic almost stick man sketch. Then I use a red pencil for more form and muscles. Finally I go in tight with 0.3 mechanical pencil. I usually start out with a small sketch at about three to four inches, then redraw it larger.

haha i usually just use a 2B or HB pencil, works for me, when i get more money ill be able to get better equipment, ive heard mechanical pencils are so much neater, i might try it some time

Keep trying different techniques and different tools, you'll find what's comfortable for you and your work will expand in different directions.

He looks like a acrobat that could kick your ass, and that's the way he should look. Some artists like to make him look like a tank, but that's not him.
