Gambit! I started this as Wizard World Philly and finally finished the colors a month later. I was inspired by Greg Horn's close-up of Hulk with the insanely detailed iris. Gambit's eyes are a big part of his character (HELLO olverine origins movie, they make these things called contact lenses?)... so I wanted to do a close up shot and get the details of his eyes in.Related content

Hi there. I hope you remember me. I was sitting at the table next to you at wizard with the Gambit obcession. I am really glad to see this finished. I love the eye and having loved Gambit for the most part of my childhood I was really glad to see how you captured his character. The detail in his eyes is intense. Well done.
Also- Gambit in the origins move- well I believe you can remember my feelings on that topic.
