So I drafted a really bad poem in which an imperial concubine falls ill and starts coughing up a fragrant yellow powder. She dies, and the embalmers find crocus growing out of her lungs.

The woman is actually Soong Ching-ling, perhaps better know as Madame Sun Yat-sen, wearing Cixi's headdress. All images are public domain.
