I started this in late March and then worked on it occasionally for short periods of time. It is my first "car manipulation" based interface. In retrospect, I can look at the final product and confidently say that 99% of the work was done by myself, which is cool because it means that car manips are a fruitful genre within interface design that I am not closed off to now. I always thought of it as cheating, but in many ways its harder than brushing or using the pen tool.Background pattern uses a pattern from Axertion's Ultimate Carbon Patterns Pack: [link] (It's the top left one.)

It is manipulated from a car. Pretty simple. I guess English isn't your first language.

I haven't found any tutorials on it, but basically, I took a car photo that I liked, and cropped sections of it and converted the basic shapes into a template design. It took a long time, since I did it all manually with the brush tool, the selection tool, the pen tool, and so on. It can be tedious, but the outcome is worth it since it looks so cool.

ahhhh i see, so you had to utilize your knowledge and talents from photoshop to make this a possibility then. yeah it sounds let alone looks difficult.

yup yup, hey man I have recently had an incredible experience, one of my all time favorite technical desktop skinners is now watching and enjoying my work .. his name ( you should already know ) he is the mighty ~danillooc he created the skin you see used in my area01 desktop shot ( on the club profile page ) I just cannot he is liking my work now, after all my years of loving his

Yes, I have had a few of those moments. My four favorite designers of all time have all complimented my works before. Cade, Jeff, Jimmy, and Lance. It's nice to be "approved" by those who have inspired you so much...

This was a new genre for me, I've never done a manipulation before. I actually like it a lot tbh, this metal looks cleaner.
