My only...and this is small....my only complaint is that Robb's pup, Grey Wind....well, he's supposed to be _grey_. Other than that...it's pretty darn awesome. My two favorite pups are Ghost and Nymeria. Although Shaggydog's pretty awesome too.

Characters nailed with your customary skill. I occasionally have difficulty keeping track of the many characters in ASOIAF and the precision of personality you bring to the Starks I would love to see for the Lannisters, Targaryens etc. More, more!
I gather that an April release for 'A Dance with Dragons' is still planned. I need to read it SO badly.

I love this. Just finished A Game of Thrones, and I think you captured Eddard's children perfectly. Arya is awesome, I love Jon Snow with Longclaw, and many kudos on your treatment of Bran. It's accurate, but doesn't give away too much.

They are great books indeed...although the last one was quite a disappointment, in terms of content.Poorly balanced.And I hate the fact they took away the cover illustrations...although I will read the next one the moment it hits the stores.
