Description so my job is tax and finance consulting, and with tax time approaching (here in the U.S.) i've not had much render time; client meetings, continuing ed., blah, blah, blah. this is my first start to finish scene for some time, and i kinda hurried through it.

rendered in Luxrender via Luxus. took forever because of that damnable beautiful ivy.

the focus here was on the water. Reality (which i haven't grown to love yet) has a water material preset that is rather beautiful; Luxus does not. to create this water i used the glass preset with added mesh parameters, transmission color set to a med/dark blue and ior set to 1.33. the displacement comes from the cave waters thing that was recently featured at Daz.

Gorgeous water! I don't think he's too shiny. He's in the water, after all.
I didn't get my pic finished, I'm afraid. Spent my one day off... working. Ugh. At least this time it was photography, which is a bit easier than grooming dogs.

I hear you on the work thing... I keep hoping my ebook sales will go bonkers overnight and let me retire. Seems about as likely as winning the lottery, right? Good luck! With both wet skin and powerball.

thanks joker i haven't used poser in a long LONG time. the only thing i miss is the cloth room if that's what its called. and maybe the face room.
i saw I Won't Grow Up  and the textures look awesome. have fun!
