I was surprised by the effects of evening light on water and was very grateful to Dominic Heard (Thelonghairedgit on Flickr)for helping me to get to grips with using the camera on manual settings.

Morning and evening light are wonderful, and water brings out the best in it (or maybe vice-versa). Sounds like Dominic Heard is a bit of a treasure.
