Description Bewick's Swans

One bird ended up very much the worse for wear and almost drowned. Keepers were informed and the injured bird was removed to another pen.

I am glad the guy was removed. It's not like in the wild or a larger open space where they can get away from each other. It's just like with herptiles...you really gotta know if it's ok to house more then one together, whether it's the same species or a mixed species set-up. Anoles are a prefect example of a herp that you need to be careful with. The males will fight and one can chase and bully another literally to death!
