Two Dunnocks on the left (sharper beaks) and two House SparrowsDunnocks used to be called Hedge Sparrows but they are insect eaters and more closely related to robins.

We Have a colony of House sparrows that hang about the garden I counted about 40 the other day ( they have been very busy this year ) in the winter it will fall to about 8 ( 4 pairs )
