Description Octopus / sea creature sculpted polymer clay over 4oz jelly jars -  air and water tight! Most of my jars are also light-tight (or close to).

Typically, each jar goes into the oven no less than 6 times as different elements are sculpted and then baked on. The final steps include adding colorful alcohol inks, pigment powders, and paints to bring out the beauty of each piece. Finally, the piece is finished with an acrylic glaze.

Custom orders for these are available at my Etsy shop, although I will be making some ready-to-go ones soon, too! Visit BrandeeBlank.com for more details.

These are as creepy as hell...but I love them! Gonna take a wild stab and say that you source your glass eyes from a taxidermy supply shop? That's where I'd go for high quality, weird eyes.

No, actually!  I bought the eyeball graphic from an artist on Etsy ( www.etsy.com/shop/CobraGraphic…   if you are interested) Then I printed it in color and used Diamond Glaze to glue it onto the back of  a clear glass cabochon.  That's it, and overall way cheaper than taxidermy eyes

Thanks for the compliment!

These are pretty cool! There's so much detail to them, I really love the eye on the red one. Is that eye sculpted out of polymer clay too? It's so real looking!

The eyeball itself is such an easy trick!  Find a high-quality image of an eye and print it in color (or you can just draw one) and use Diamond Glaze to glue it onto the back of  a clear glass cabachon.  That is all it is!  I bought the eyeball graphic from an artist on Etsy ( www.etsy.com/shop/CobraGraphic…  if you are interested)

Thanks for your compliment

Ohh that's how you do it?! Quite an awesome trick, I'd never have thought of that! Thanks for letting me know, I'll have to try it someday.

And you're welcome!
